1. Agreement to Terms
By using My Health Companion, LLC ("My Health Companion," "we," "us," or "our") application and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use our services. We provide a personal health companion app designed to record doctor visits, provide medical term explanations, and facilitate caregiver communication.

2. Not Medical Advice
The Services provided by My Health Companion, including AI-generated summaries and medical term explanations, are for informational purposes only. WE DO NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSES, OR TREATMENT. Our AI features should never replace professional medical judgment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

3. User Responsibilities & Recording Consent
Our app allows you to record conversations with healthcare providers. Laws regarding voice recordings vary significantly by jurisdiction. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLYING WITH LOCAL LAWS, INCLUDING OBTAINING NECESSARY CONSENT FROM ALL PARTIES IN ALL-PARTY CONSENT STATES (e.g., California, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, etc.).

4. Privacy and HIPAA
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We maintain strict HIPAA-aligned security protocols to protect your health information. You control all caregiver access and permission levels within the app.

5. Limitations of AI Technology
While we strive for accuracy, our AI transcription and summarization may contain errors or inaccuracies. My Health Companion is not responsible for any consequences arising from inaccuracies in automated transcriptions or summaries.

6. Account Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MY HEALTH COMPANION, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.
